This tour is for the coffee lovers and the travelers willing to observe and learn more about Machu Picchu. After spending a night with a great view of Machu Picchu from Llactapata, travelers will enjoy the relaxing natural hot springs of the town and the enjoy lunch at Cola de Mono. The hike to your campsite will be enlightened by a visit to the plantations of local coffee growers.

This tour starts with the check-in at your hotel in Agua Calientes. In the late afternoon a full body massage will help you relax and recover from you visit to Machu Picchu. This massage will last an hour. At 7:00pm, dinner will be served at El Indio Feliz restaurant. After dinner, you will go back to your hotel to rest and get ready for your next day adventure
An early breakfast will be served at your hotel. After breakfast, you will take the train from the town of Aguas Calientes to the hydroelectric of Santa Teresa. This ride will last 45 minutes and once at the hydroelectric, private transportation will take you the small village of Lucmabamba where you will visit organic coffee plantations to learn about the species of coffee produced in the area. You will enjoy lunch here. After visiting these plantations, you will hike with direction to the archeological site of Llactapata from where you will get a privileged view of Machu Picchu and all the surrounding mountains. This Inca site is located at 8,954 feet above sea level. In another 20 minutes you will reach your campsite where you will enjoy dinner.
Today, you will wake up to a priceless view of Machu Picchu. After breakfast, you will continue your journey for 2 hours descending to the hydroelectric of Santa Teresa. Once at the hydroelectric, you will be taken to the natural hot springs of Santa Teresa. After relaxing at the pools, you will visit the Cola de Mono campsite where you will enjoy lunch and coffee from the local plantations. Zipline is also available at Cola de Mono, but the cost of this adventure is not included in the price of this trek.
After lunch, you will be driven to the Hydroelectric from where you will take the train back to Aguas Calientes to connect with train to Ollantaytambo (train ticket not included.) Upon arrival, you will be driven to your hotel in Cusco.
